Annie’s parents got her first dog when she was one year old, hoping that she would stop sticking her hand in fences to pet barking dogs. All these years later, she still has all her fingers and can’t imagine a better way to spend an afternoon than with a dog out in the fresh air.

Annie was born and raised in Fargo, ND and moved to Minnesota in 2009 for graduate school. She began working for These Paws in 2013 while also running a small healthcare organization. After 20 years in healthcare, she needed more recovery time and less in-office time, and she is so grateful for her community of pups. Annie resides in Saint Paul with her son, their mutt Tallulah, and any other pup that needs to crash.
