Karina is technically an only child but grew up with a dog as a sibling, thereby subjecting him to sleepovers, playing dress up, and going on razor scooter runs. As she has grown up, she still loves to play, walk, explore and snuggle with her many animal friends. 

She currently resides in South Minneapolis. In addition to hanging out with animals, she loves to study and play with herbal medicine and wild foods, climb, hike, travel, read and write.
